Snow Drift

Snow drift give you the taste of Drifting but brings it to another level with a snowy conditions. You have at the start an amazing selection of eight cars to choose from, each with their different aspects. Be sure to drift well as your car has a damage level. Hit the side too much and you’re out of the game.

Did you know?         Four wheel drive

As you know, four wheel drive is one in which all four wheels are responsible for propelling the car. Again four wheel drive is a little like the front wheel drive. The two front wheels are used for both turning and driving. So just like the front wheel drive, a four wheel drive will tend to under steer. But still, there are a lot of four wheel drive used in drifting games,  like the Skyline GT-R which is one of the most popular car in drifting games.

Now why is it not practical for beginners? Because put simply, the front wheel will force will give you a hell of a trouble to drift since they always tend to under steer, but it will only be half as hard since the two rear tires are giving you the driving force as well. Over steer is the key point to drift, so four wheel drive is better than a front wheel drive, since you can over steer because of the rear wheels.

To make you four wheels drive drift, you will need to make your rear wheels lose traction. You will not be able to make it over steer much, so a different technique is used. You need to make the wheels spin in place and then turn. To make this possible, you will need to make your way to the entry-point, then shift down your gear so you get a higher range of RPM (revolution per minute), and hit the gas pedal to make the rear wheels lose traction and spin in place. Then by using the front wheels, you need to control perfectly, lose enough traction to drift. You will need to monitor your speed very carefully, to fast and you’ll go out of control, to slow, your drift will end prematurely. So practice is the key to a success in drifting games if you are using a four wheel drive.

If you think this is simple, you are terribly mistaken, the steps above are VERY hard to master. You need to get every step of the way with pin point accuracy or you will not drift properly. It takes years of practice and car modification to get perfect drifting games. Four wheels drive car are faster than rear wheel drive car because of its four driven wheels, so if you managed to master it, you are way ahead of your other competitors in drifting games.

Now remember, you need a lot of car modifications and practice before you can pull a perfect drift from a four wheel drive. Do not attempt to use a four wheel drive if this is your first time learning how to drift. You might end up severely injured.
